Pawe? graduated from Warsaw School of Economics in 1998 specializing in statistics and demography. His professional career in tax advisory Pawel started in 1999 and specializes in corporate income tax and international taxation issues. His experience includes tax and business issues related to restructuring of operations (including mergers and acquisitions); effective tax planning methods for local and international projects; and tax issues in relation to real estate investments and constructions.
His projects included:
international structuring of foreign investment to Poland, including tax planning for flow of funds generated by the projects in the future, assistance in preparation of fixed assets registers for new acquisitions/investments with emphasis on cost segregation methods allowing for more effective tax depreciation and allocation of financial and other indirect costs to the total value of the project, analysis of indirect tax (VAT, stamp duty) implications of real estate transactions, on-going advisory during operational phase for the entities managing real estate properties, comprehensive tax reviews at large companies (e.g. tax procedures reviews, tax effectiveness reviews, due diligence reviews), analysis of permanent establishment issues for foreign entities carrying out a temporary or limited business activities in Poland.
When not working Pawel spends time with family, reads books and enjoys backpacking or cycling trips.
