Hans van de Sanden is in Poland since 1991, having now both Dutch and Polish citizenship. He worked for the City of Szczecin developing pilot renovation projects and elaborating a Local Revitalisation Programme. For Grontmij he started commercial real estate projects, that were later continued by SEGRO: a logistics park in Stryków near ?ód? and an office-complex in Warsaw. At present Grontmij Polska assist many real estate developers In Poland, as a local project manager and/or with technical assistance: soil investigations, building supervison, and the like. Hans works with Howard Holdings PLC and with ING Real Estate Development on the development of the Szczecin waterfront projects, in close cooperation with the City authorities.
Grontmij is an engineering and consultancy firm with 7.000 employees in Europe and over 200 employees in Poland. It works from regional offices in Poznan, Warsaw, Gdansk, Olsztyn, ?ód?, Katowice and Szczecin.
