The session's title is: “Central & Eastern Europe: A Converging Land”

The Chief Economic Advisor to PricewaterhouseCoopers Polska, Witold Orlowski, has confirmed his presence as a Keynote Speaker at the session “Central & Eastern Europe: A Converging Land” to take place on April 18th at the Symposium breakfast. Orlowski will explain his vision on Central & Eastern Europe, finally on the way towards the convergence with Western Europe, which implies fast growth rates in that part of the continent for many years. According to the economist, the transition process is over but a robust emergence of many markets will continue and the path of change will be still rapid.
   Witold Orlowski is a macroeconomist working mainly on the economics of transition and the European integration of Central and East European countries.  Former economic advisor to the president of Poland, Mr. Aleksander Kwasniewski,  Founder of NOBE (Independent Centre for Economic Studies), one of Poland’s leading economic think-tanks, and the Dean of the Business School of the Warsaw University of Technology, at present time is  Chief Economic Advisor to PricewaterhouseCoopers Polska.
