75 billion Euros. This is the outstanding amount of money that the EU will pour in Poland in the 2007-2013 period. And out of this amount, 19 billion will directly be handled by the Ministry of Transportation who will add another 7 billion Euros from the Polish Treasury. That is, 26 billion Euros will be invested in 2007-2013 throughout the Polish territory under the “Infrastructure and Environment Program”. Obviously, this Program will first be most appealing for the construction companies specializing in public works. Nonetheless the Program is most important too for the real estate development companies, be residential development companies or commercial, industrial and logistic development corporations as the Program will in general boost the Polish economy and in particular will revitalize some very specific areas of the country (the highway and rail corridors, the airports and ports surroundings, etc). Thus, there is no better way to learn how these 26 billion Euros can affect the property business in Poland than listening to the Minister who has designed the investment Program and who will handle it in the coming years. Without any doubt, a great way to kick off CEMP 2007.
