The Polish Minister of Transport, Keynote Speaker at CEMP‘s Official Opening

Jerzy Polaczek, Poland’s Minister of Transporte, will open CEMP 2007 on Wednesday, April 18th at 10 a.m. The name of the Official Opening session is “The Government’s Investment Plans in Poland 2007-2013” .br The Investment Plans in Transport in Poland up to 2013 will be the largest investment plan carried out in Poland to this date. Its priorities are the development of the road and aereal network TEN-T, the development of an enviromental friendly transport, the development of a road infrastructure in East Poland and the transport security and the national transport networks, In the framework of the Program „Infrastructure and Environment” for transport investments,19.07 bn euros from the EU funds will be assigned, including 16.13 billion euros of the Cohesion Fund and 2.94 billion euros from the Regional Development European Fund. National contribution for these projects is estimated in 7 bn euros that, together with the EU funds sums up more than 26 bn euros.
