| The risk of investing in the Central and Eastern Europe has reduced significantly following the European Union enlargement in May 2004. The real estate market has gone very hot with too little product and too many investors chasing it. CEE has experienced a significant reduction in yields in all property segments. Cross-border, pan-European investment is increasing. Is this trend to continue? What is the main motivation for the investors from Western Europe to invest in CEE? What are the biggest challenges and what is seen as the greatest opportunity and why? Are there any differences between the American and the Western European views on CEE? Do Western Europeans have much significant advantages thanks to their EU partnership? |
