Within a couple of weeks, the City Council will disclose “The Development Plan of Warsaw"?, a document presenting the opportunities for the future development of the city of Warsaw as well as the terms and conditions for it. After being approved by the City Council, “The Development Plan"? will be “the guideline"? for all new projects to be carried out in the city. Warsaw is far from being fully developed. Within next decades the number of inhabitants will increase. It is envisaged that in 2040 Warsaw will have almost 4 million inhabitants - about 10% of the total population of Poland. A dramatic improvement of quality of management within the public sphere as well as hard work by developers will be necessary to achieve such a development. Come listen Warsaw’s Chief Architect and learn very first-hand what areas in town will see some of the most exciting redevelopments in the whole of Europe in the next decades.
