| Attractive markets with promising rates of return can become a trap if investors are not aware of some “hidden"? issues that may turn a dream into a nightmare. Some of these hidden issues are in the domain of law and taxation. And that’s why it is worthy that experts with local knowledge and, at the same time, with a foreign investor’s state of mind give practical tips on the legal environment affecting such important issues as: a) development and construction; b) court registering, notarial deeds, perpetual usufructs, property claims; c) corporate income tax and capital gains tax; d) parent-subsidiary directives; e) interest deduction, thin capitalization rules and the expected exchanges in the law; f) input VAT recovery and expected changes; g) other duties connected to running a real estate company in Poland; h) binding tax rulings; and i) financing real estate: usual problems and opportunities in Polish bank practice. Quite a list of things to worry about"¦ but, fortunately, a group of law and tax experts assembled in this session will point out the solutions. Get them! |
